CoreAlign / Pilates Suspension Method

CoreAlign

The CoreAlign® was designed by Physical Therapist, Jonathan Hoffman (pictured here), as a rehabilitation tool. When his clients became healthy again, they all wanted to continue working out with the machine. He then began developing foundation training, not only to improve gait, posture, core strength and alignment, but also sport specific training, such as skiing, golfing, and ball sports. The CoreAlign® is part mind-body, part cardio, part strength, part flexibility, and a totally unique way to develop harmonious movement in the body!  You have to get on it to understand its unique qualities and benefits. Paula was trained and certified by the inventor, Jonathan Hoffman.

Some of the Benefits of the CoreAlign include:

  • Improve posture
  • Train balance and coordination
  • Increase strength and flexibility
  • Develop endurance
  • Improve walking gait
  • Integrate whole body movements
  • Develop symmetrical movement in the body
  • Train for sports specific activities such as skiing and golf
Jane, Paula’s client for over 30 years, does the CoreAlign to maintain her flexibility, strength and balance!

Easy-to-learn exercises on the CoreAlign® emphasize an upright posture and are designed to improve posture, balance, functional movement and sport specific skills. The CoreAlign® method, developed by Jonathan Hoffman P.T., stimulates core stability muscles to fire in perfect timing while performing challenging exercises, very deep stretches and core-controlled aerobic training. Great for musculo-skeletal rehabilitation, sport performance enhancement and as a regular workout for a healthy lifestyle. The CoreAlign frame encloses two tracks and two carts, which move independently with smooth resistance (or assistance) created by six elastic resistance tube assemblies on each cart. Resistance/assistance is possible in one or both directions. It is extraordinarily versatile – with hundreds of functional movement exercises!  CoreAlign® Private Training is the same rate as Pilates Private training.
